To celebrate the return of Marvel’s First Family, Fantastic Four took over six WOW spectaculars for a full month—turning Inglewood’s skyline into a cinematic prologue for the film’s 2025 debut. With a retro-inspired aesthetic that nodded to the comic’s 1960s roots, Marvel transformed key WOW locations into glowing teasers for one of the year’s most anticipated movies. Over 28 days, the campaign delivered 12.5 million+ impressions across WOW01, WOW02, WOW05, WOW12, WOW13, and WOWB.
Timeless. Iconic. Unmissable. Marvel’s creative leaned into a bold retro design language—washed halftone textures, vintage title treatments, and deep cosmic blues—that made every WOW spectacular feel like a living comic book cover. Screens cycled through the 4 emblem glowing against starfields, Reed Richards’ lab schematics, and animated treatments of the Baxter Building, building anticipation frame by frame.
Strategically placed, the campaign blanketed every major entry point to Inglewood: WOW1, WOW02, and WOW5 dominated LAX arrivals and departures, WOW12 and WOW13 reached every stadium-goer heading to or leaving Inglewood’s major stadiums and WOWB hit the endless stream of drivers on the 405—one of the busiest freeways in the U.S. The result wasn’t just visibility—it was a month-long countdown to Marvel’s biggest return in years.
